Sharon was admitted as a Solicitor in July 1986 after completing her Bachelor of Laws degree at The New South Wales Institute of Technology.  She also completed a Master of Law and Management Degree from The University of New South Wales in September 2002.

Throughout her career in law Sharon has worked predominantly in the areas of Wills and Estates, Conveyancing and Commercial Law. In 1995 Sharon gained Specialist Accreditation in the area of Wills & Estates Law through The Law Society of New South Wales.
